The Whirlwind is a ministry with many outreaches. We are not just affiliated with just one church but operate through the volunteers and support of many churches of different denominations. We help to feed the hungry in our community, we also have a disaster relief program and several other areas of ministry. However, our main focus is the youth. As you tour this site you may see something you would like to get involved in financially or physically. If so, first pray about it, then contact us as we are always in need of assistance.
The name Whirlwind came to me when we started the youth center division of the ministry. At the time, I just assumed it was a cool name for a youth center (something attractive to teens.) I thought that way for about a year. Then, the Lord started showing me how a whirlwind was a force, and as it traveled the land it picks up everything in its path that isn't bound to the world, and everything it picks up becomes part of it, an actual weapon. That is what we are doing at the Whirlwind, We are putting together a force, uniting churches to help expand one anothers outreahces. Whatever your church wants to accomplish, it will happen faster and easier when you have help.
