Scriptures - Philippians 3:10-16

                  Colossians 1:28-29

There are 3 D's to growth.

Desire - You have to have a desire and compassion about serving GOD. The meaning of compassion is:

                       1) A deep love

                       2) A deep sacrifice

                       3) A deep involvement

Decision - You make decisions about different things everyday. Some decisions are tougher to make then others some have more value then others. Well a very important decision you have to make is weather you want to serve the Lord or not. When you choose to serve Jesus, you have to continue to gaurd yourself with the word daily. You will mess up and make some wrong decisions but, you will learn from them and GOD will forgive you for them. So, when you have to make a decision pray about it and ask GOD to help you make the decision he wants you to make. Your decision and GOD's decision might not always be the same but, you have to trust him, he knows what hes doing. Sometimes your growth is tested. You will have to decide what decision to make.

Devotion - You must be constantly devoted to Jesus. The more you get devoted to him the more you will realize how much more you want him and how much more you want to know him.

If you run a race, only one person can win. If you run for Jesus,every runner will win. We aren't in a spirit race. We are in a marathon. You can't take off running for just a short amount of time and then quit.This is a lifetime run, We must not quit!
